Next Cancer Innovation Challenge funding competition launched!

The competition brief for the next Cancer Innovation Challenge funding competition has been launched today. The competition will be to find Innovative data science solutions to improve cancer care and outcomes in Scotland.
Organisations in the EU can apply for a share of £425,000 through a two phase funding competition.
The application process will open at noon on Friday 8 September but the competition brief is available now. Interested applicants can register to attend an Information Session and Collider Event on 12 October 2017. Once the competition opens, potential bidders will need to register their interest by 27 October 2017 to get access to the competition documents and their final applications will need to be submitted by 10 November 2017.
This funding competition is not just for organisations already working in the healthcare sector. The Cancer Innovation Challenge is looking for innovation from any organisations with experience of working with large complex, heterogeneous data sets in a safe environment.
